GHANA - AFICIA

In 2002, we supported Aficia, a UK charity with strong links to the Ashanti region in Ghana. We helped provide the funds for a dormitory wing to a very successful centre for disabled children run by Aficia. Before the building of the dormitory block at the Aficia centre in Kunsu there had been no residential facilities.

Having these has enabled better rehabilitation treatment for the children. This is particularly important for those who have undergone major surgery which currently is carried out 300 miles away in the capital Accra!
