Trust 2000 makes a grant (or grants) once a year in March/April.
The trustees welcome suggestions as to charities that might be considered for a grant. Anyone wishing to make a suggestion should write to the Secretary:

He will then contact the charity concerned with an invitation to submit an application.
If you wish to make an application for a grant, completed application forms are accepted between 1st April and 31st August each year. These are considered by the trustees in October who then publish a shortlist of the most favoured in the local parish magazine. This is distributed to all the houses in the parish. Local people are invited to submit their preference(s) after which a final decision is made.
The trustees prefer to support specific projects rather than simply putting money into the general running of a charitable organisation; they will not support major national/international organisations.
