SHORT HISTORY

In the year 2000 the parish of Shedfield, comprising the villages of Shedfield, Shirrell Heath and Waltham Chase raised over £45,000 to mark the Millennium. We use the annual returns from the fund to support projects both in the UK and worldwide.

Trust 2000 has supported projects in Ghana, Tamil Nadu in India and Kenya as well as in the UK. As a charity we do a lot of research to find projects where a small sum can make a big difference. The internet not only allows us to hear of projects but also enables us to keep in touch with projects we have supported.

Trust 2000 also makes members of this community and those further a field aware of charities and projects which they may not have heard of before and can continue to support on an individual basis.
