SACEWD In 2004, we supported an Indian charity, the "Social Agriculture Children's Education and Women Development Trust". Twenty women in the Pudupatti village in Tamil Nadu were supplied with goats and were given training to rear and select good quality goats. They were also instructed in housing the goats, pasturing and disease control.
Jawahar Rural People's Development Organisation In 2007, a grant was given to the JRPDO, an organisation based in Tamil Nadu, to assist in their work to identify and treat the children of prostitution who are suffering with AIDS.
New Earth Team
In 2008, we provided funds to the
New Earth Team in Tamil Nadu for the provision of suitable clothing and
shoes for 500 children to attend school and to connect 13 schools to an
electricity supply.
